Narrowband Absorbers (also known as Tuned Frequency or Resonant Frequency Absorbers) are single layer materials that absorb radiation at a specified frequency range, typically within +/- 10% of the target frequency. Narrowband Absorbers can be custom formulated to target a frequency by changing the formulation and thickness, are considerably thinner than other types of absorbers, and are the preferred choice for applications where broadband absorption is not required.
